KidZone Christian Preschool is a quality, caring, and Christian-based environment designed to meet the developmental needs of children 2 to 5 years old. Our goal is to “Educate Hearts and Minds For Eternity” by focusing on each child’s social, spiritual, and educational needs in this unique stage of life. Most of all, our state-of-the-art facility is a place where your child will flourish in a safe, secure, and fun environment with loving and nurturing teachers and workers trained to encourage each child in his and her God-given value and abilities.
Our Philosophy
We feel that Early Childhood is an exciting and important time of life. There is no other part of our lives when we learn as much as in this brief time. We are excited about getting to know your children and partnering with you as parents through this exciting time of your children’s lives. We encourage each of our teachers to bring to the classroom their own style and personality, while representing the philosophy and heart of KidZone Christian Preschool in the following ways:

Developmentally Appropriate
Our staff is trained (II Timothy 2:15) and expected to provide activities that consider how young children develop and learn. Young children neither think nor learn like adults; they are concrete thinkers who learn by doing. Therefore, they must be allowed to move around freely and explore, in order for maximum learning to take place, as well as a time of structure where they are taught according to their developmentally appropriate attention duration.
Language and pre-reading skills develop best when children are encouraged and challenged to express themselves verbally. The development of reasoning skills is much more desirable than that of role memorization. We strive for an environment where natural curiosity and creativity flourish. In summary, childhood is viewed as a time to be relished rather than hurried through. We hope your child leaves KidZone Christian Preschool believing that learning is fun!
Well Rounded Teaching
We believe that a dynamic program for young children view them as “whole persons.” We understand that they have emotional, physical, spiritual, social, creative, and cognitive needs that are integrally related. Therefore, we approach early childhood education with a necessity for addressing all aspects of the child’s “self.” Curriculum plans for each child will include activities to enhance his or her development in math, science, creative arts, language arts, social studies, movement, Bible, and music.
Christ-Centered Curriculum
Children will be taught that they are fearfully and wonderfully made by God, that they are extraordinarily unique for the purpose of God’s special plan for their lives. (Psalm 139:13-16). We will provide the best setting for sharing about the Lord (with your children).
